On a flight to Kona in 2006, Jeremy experienced a near miss when another plane on a different frequency almost collided with his plane. This near-death experience led him to reassess his life path, and he took a six-month leave of absence from school. During this time, he bought a $50 guitar at Hawaii Music Supply and began hanging out with musicians, practicing five hours a day, and working nights as an audio engineer at live shows.
Jeremy became a professional musician in 2010. Over the next decade, he played thousands of engagements, sometimes gigging 20 times a week, with residencies all over Waikiki, including the Sheraton Waikiki, Moana Surfrider, and the Modern Honolulu. He also played corporate events and weddings. Through music, Jeremy was able to support his family, building his family’s home and multifamily investment property from the ground up.
